Precision Footwear & Orthotics for Long-Term Mobility

Your feet are your foundation. When conditions like arthritis, diabetes, foot drop, or hypermobility affect that foundation, balance and stability suffer.

At Prime Ortho, pedorthics is more than shoe inserts—it’s targeted, medical-grade engineering for the lower limb. Every device is built in-house for accuracy, fit, and long-term function.

What Are Pedorthics?

Pedorthics is the science of using footwear and foot orthoses to manage and treat conditions affecting the foot and lower limb. While orthotics can address a wide range of body areas, pedorthics is focused exclusively on the foot–shoe interface—where mobility, balance, and comfort begin.

Pedorthic solutions are often the first line of defense for preventing more severe complications, particularly in patients with diabetes, arthritis, or partial foot amputation. Unlike standard orthotics or prosthetics, pedorthics works with the foot you have—protecting vulnerable tissue, correcting alignment, and redistributing pressure to prevent injury.

What We Build

  • Ankle Gauntlets icon

    Ankle Gauntlets

Rigid or semi-rigid devices that wrap around the ankle and lower leg to stabilize unstable joints, protect healing tissue, and control excessive motion. Commonly used for severe arthritis, tendon injuries, or post-surgical recovery.

  • Toe Fillers icon

    Toe Fillers

Custom-fabricated inserts that fill the void left by partial foot amputation, restoring proper shoe fit and balance. Designed to work with custom insoles for even weight distribution and gait correction.

  • Custom Insoles icon

    Custom Insoles

Precision-molded footbeds built to match your unique anatomy and pressure patterns. Used to correct alignment, reduce pain, prevent ulceration, and improve function in patients with flat feet, high arches, or neuropathy.

  • Shoe Modifications icon

    Shoe Modifications

Adjustments made directly to the shoe—such as rocker soles to improve forward motion, lift adjustments to address leg length discrepancies, or outsole reinforcements for stability and durability. All modifications are integrated seamlessly for both function and appearance.
